Own the Moment (OTM) Build Co. was created to deliver quality from the beginning of the project to the end.

We execute commercial finish-outs and ground-up projects across Dallas–Fort Worth.

5,400 SF + 1,500 SF patio · Restaurant finish-out · Architect: FoxFox Studio

A full restaurant finish-out delivered from a cold, dark shell in the Continental Gin Building, a century-old Dallas landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. Everything went in new, built within the original brick and timber structure: the tambour bar, the brass ceiling, the curved banquettes, the tile and neon patio bar, and the mechanical work you’ll never see.

11,000 SF + 10,000 SF patio · Design-build renovation · Architect: JonesBaker

A full design-build renovation of a 45-year-old steakhouse originally built from two single-family homes tied together under a later superstructure, the kind of bones that make every straight line a negotiation. OTM carried it from design through construction: the Founders Room private dining, a new interior bar, a rebuilt patio and patio bar, and the dining rooms redone throughout.

7,500 SF · Second-generation finish-out · Architect: Plan B Group

A second-generation finish-out: rebuilding a space that had already been a restaurant. Glazed subway tile in the thousands, a fully tiled stair to the mezzanine bar, a gut-renovated kitchen, and a covered patio with a fireplace.

Leela’s, Lower Greenville

1,750 SF · Wine bar renovation · Architect: JonesBaker

A 50-year-old Lower Greenville bar space redesigned into a wine bar, where existing conditions ran the show. Beyond the walnut, white brick, and quartz, the job included a new fire sprinkler system and cutting a new rear entrance into the existing building.

Three kinds of work, one standard

  • Commercial finish-out. Restaurants, retail, office. We’ve built our name on quality finish work, but we pride ourselves on quality throughout.
  • Ground-up construction. From shell and core through full finish-out.
  • Renovation. Occupied buildings and existing conditions. We price what’s actually behind the wall, not what we hope is.

Architect Partners

  • Real preconstruction. Budgets at each design phase, with VE presented as options for your client to decide, not substitutions you find out about in the field.
  • RFIs in writing, with a proposed answer. We don't improvise your details. When something won't work as drawn, you hear it from us first, on paper.
  • Built to the drawing. Bring the details.
  • Complete closeout. Delivered, not chased.

Sending a set out to bid? We'll return a real number with our clarifications and exclusions spelled out on page one, not a low number with the gaps buried. info@otm-co.com

Who you'll be working with

Misael "Jr" Cruz

General Contractor

Jr came up in framing and structural work and made his second name in finish carpentry and millwork: the rare builder trusted equally with what holds the building up and what you run your hand across. More than twenty years in Dallas–Fort Worth, and his reputation with clients and tradesmen speaks for itself: most of our work arrives by word of mouth.

Ana Sellers

Senior Project Manager

Ana has run commercial finish-outs and remodels across DFW since 2022. Before joining OTM that meant Bob's Steak House at District 121 in McKinney, multiple Blue Goose Cantina locations, and a steady run of $1–5M interiors, often coordinating several superintendents at once. Before moving into the field she spent five years on the supplier side in estimating, project management, and quality control, which is where the measure-twice habit comes from. She holds an AAS in Construction Management from Dallas College, is OSHA 30 certified, and is bilingual.
